Kharupetia College
Kharupetia College is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Darrang District of Assam (India). The college is situated at Kharupetia, a fast developing commercial town in Shyamabari Mouza of Mangaldoi Sub-division under Darrang District, Assam (India). It is about 17 Kms from Mangaldoi, the district headquarters and 87 Kms from Guwahati, the gateway of North-East India. It is connected by National Highway No. 52.
Established in the year 1981,the college was taken over by the Govt. of Assam under deficit system of grants-in-aid w.e.f. 25/03/98. The college has been provincialised by the Govt. of Assam w.e.f. 01-12-2005.

It gives me immense pleasure and pride to be heading the Kharupetia College, one of the premier institutions of higher education in Darrang District. The college has gone on from strength to strength in spite of a few hurdles that it had faced in the past.
